What is a trustee service?

For some domain names, the respectic registry imposes local residence requirements. To register a .de domain name, for example, the owner or the administrative contact must have an address within Germany.

In order to allow non-residents of these countries or regions to still register a domain name, customers can take advantage of a trustee service. Rather than submitting name and address of the actual domain name owner to the registry, we submit that of a trustee selected by us. Our customers keep full control of and responsibility for the domain name.
